Stardust Wins Popular Mechanics Award

NASA's Stardust mission received Popular Mechanics' prestigious 2006 Breakthrough Award for Innovative for spacecraft design, mission planning and execution, and scientific achievement. Tom Duxbury, Stardust project manager at JPL, was on hand at the award ceremony in New York City to receive the honor on behalf of the team. The magazine's November issue will describe the award in greater detail.
