Join the Dawn mission education team June 28-30 at Cape Canaveral, Florida, to discover a
host of exciting educational activities to spark students' interest in space science. Conference participants will take a behind-the-scenes bus tour of Kennedy Space Center, visit Cape Canaveral, see the Dawn spacecraft launch, attend engaging sessions featuring Dawn mission and science team members, and more.
The cost of the conference is $60. Participants are responsible for their own travel expenses, including air transportation, hotel accommodations, and automobile rental. Special hotel rates are available to conference participants at The Hilton Cocoa Beach Oceanfront-the same
location as the conference events on June 29th. As hotel space is limited, make your reservations as soon as possible by calling 1.800.445.8667. While the launch is scheduled for no earlier than June 30, there is always the chance that unforeseen conditions, such as weather, could affect the launch. The Educator Conference will proceed as scheduled on June 28th -30th regardless of any changes to the launch date.
