The next Lessons Learned Workshop for Discovery is scheduled for February 23-24, 2000, at the Lunar and Planetary Institute, Houston, Texas. The primary purposes are: 1) to review the draft for the next Discovery Announcement of Opportunity (AO) and to discuss plans for review and evaluation of proposals submitted in response to this AO; and 2) to receive feedback from the community regarding the Draft AO as well as the review and evaluation process from the previous Discovery competition. Target date for release of the final AO is April 3, 2000.

Those parties interested in participating in the next Discovery competition should plan to attend this workshop. Preregistration is encouraged to ensure a space. Registration can be done via the LPI website. NASA plans to videotape and broadcast this workshop, however, this is not assured at the present.
